Spider Control
Outdoor Spiders: Our spider control treatment uses a specialist spider spray to treat the outdoors surfaces of buildings including eaves and window / door frames, cracks and crevices, fenceline, sheds, outdoor furniture and play equipment. This treatment targets web-building spiders such as the redback and black house spiders. The spray leaves residual insecticide on the surface of treated areas. Once the spiders have been controlled, brush the webs away. Don't jet wash – this will wash the treatment away, losing the benefits of long-term protection.
Indoor Spiders: We spray around the top of walls, door and window frames, cracks and crevices, under cupboards and furniture. Insecticidal dust is applied to the roof void.

Ant Control
Indoor Ants: Typically our indoor ant control treatments rely heavily on ant baits. Ant baits consist of a food matrix and a slow-acting insecticide. Foraging ants find the bait irresistible and take it back to the nest where it is spread throughout the nest, killing the queen and the colony. We also include a preventative ant treatment around the outside perimeter of the home, to prevent new ants entering.
Outdoor Ants: Outdoor ants often require a combination treatment of baits and sprays. We use non-repellent sprays designed for maximum ant control. The non-repellent nature means that ants walk across treated areas and continue foraging and transfer the insecticide back to the nest, maximising its effect and potentially killing the whole colony.
Ant baits are used to target the queen and larvae back in the nest, essential to eliminate the colony and get lasting control. The ant bait we use will depend on the ant species present.
Flea Control
Our treatments will kill any adult fleas, flea larvae and eggs. The treatment leaves residual insecticide in the carpet which kills any fleas that hatch out of the flea pupae. The treatment in the carpeted areas keeps working for many months providing protection from potential future infestations.
End of Lease Flea Treatments: End of lease pest treatments are often required by contract when leaving a rental home. Especially if pets have been in the home, the treatment will often specify a flea treatment.

Cockroach Control
Our cockroach treatment typically include the use of non-repellent sprays, cockroach baits and insecticide powders to provide a comprehensive treatment to tackle the problem from all angles and get on top of the problems as quickly as possible. As a homeowner, preventative action is to reduce the available food sources by maintaining good hygiene: Clear up any spilled food, do not leave unwashed dishes out overnight, do not leave pet food bowls out with food in, food should be stored in airtight containers and put rubbish into sealed bins and stack away from the house.
Termite Control
Pre and Post Construction termite barrier installation. If you are building a new house a termite barrier needs to be installed. We have several options available, chemical sprays, physical barriers and reticulated replenishment systems, please contact Westy to discuss your requirements. Installation of a protective zone using a Repellent Chemical (bifenthrin active ingredient) around the exterior of your home. This would involve either trenching to a depth of 80 mm below the top of the footing or drilling 10 mm holes at distances no greater than 200 mm apart in concrete, brick or tiled areas and injecting emulsion into these holes. The protective zone, if undisturbed and continuous, will provide up to five years of protection according to the product manufacturer’s label. Non Repellent Chemical (Fipronil) – available as an extra for live termite control.
